This action packed day in the Scottish Capital also includes the Bupa Junior Great Winter Run which is suitable for kids aged between 7 � 13 years and covers an approximate 2.5km.

The day also features the Bupa Great Edinburgh International cross country giving everyone a chance to see some of the world�s greatest elite distance runners battle it out in what has become one of the most respected cross country meetings of the year and best of all it�s FREE for spectators.

Six Nations

The annual Six Nations championship is the oldest rugby tournament in the world, having existed in one form or another for 120 years. Initially the International Championship, featuring England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, the competition has expanded twice, with France joining the fray in 1910 and Italy being the most recent addition, in 2000. Match Dates for Edinburgh 2010 are as follows: Sun 7th Feb@ 15.00, Sat 13th March @ 17.00. Dont forget beds at the Cowgate are limited for these dates and early booking is essential to avoid disappointment!
